Cost: $10 per person
There is a cap of $30 for a family of any size.
What to bring: Camera, Binoculars, Water - plenty of it, Insect repellant
Snacks and/or lunch, Rain poncho in the event of rain.
What to wear:
We recommend wearing pants and closed-toed shoes that you don't mind getting a little muddy. A hat is also a good idea.
What we're doing:
I will be hosting a leisurely native orchid and wildflower walk at Fort Christmas Historical Park and nearby Orlando Wetlands Park. We should see two to four species of orchids in bloom (including the beautiful and showy Florida Butterfly Orchid--Encyclia tampensis), plus two more species out of flower, in addition to many other types of wildflowers.
